Private Security and Educational Institution 2 Education is necessary for the personal growth of an individual. Furthermore, education plays a pivotal role in the rise and fall of nations, especially in the 21st century. Today, private security is responsible not only for protecting many of our nation’s institutions and critical infrastructure systems but also for protecting intellectual property. These project would focus on researching if in whether or not overall duties and daily operations of a private security agency changed since 9/11 in the educational institution? Background of the profession An educational security officers duties consist of promoting and maintaining safety college, university, or any other level of the educational institution. According to Salary website, Campus Police Officer: “Conduct patrols on campus to ensure the security of buildings, students and staff. Responds to requests for assistance and emergencies. Enforces vehicle and traffic regulations. Investigates crimes. May conduct educational activities related to safety and crime prevention. Typically require Associate's degree in criminal
