Emilee Orsi Managing organizational behavior 2/11/17 Ethical Dilemma: Millennial job hopping 5-11: In your experience, do younger individuals differ from older individuals in terms of how long they plan to remain with a given employer? Yes, in my experience I see this a lot. Something that wasn’t mentioned too much was the desire to travel. It becomes harder to travel when you have a secure job, house, kids, spouse etc. I put my current “secure” job on the line to go to Florida for a month and a half to work for PETA. The pay was better, it was exposure and it’s a great addition to my resume (not to mention my passion towards animals). I’d have to agree that I plan on changing my job every so often UNLESS the employer gave me a reason to stay and encouraged me to do so which I find employers sometimes view their employees as disposable (at least in my field of work in music retail). The older employees at Guitar Center are higher up in authority and I do
