Karen Lopez MAY 155 3/5/18 Menopause The average age for a women to start menopause is at the age between 35-55. How it works is that during that time the ovaries gets smaller and it stops producing the hormones estrogen and progesterone those controls the menstrual cycle. Your eggs are reduce and fertility declines. There are 3 stages of menopause the before,during, and after. Before the menopause other wise called perimenapause your estrogen and hormone level begins to drop. You start experience ir- regular menstrual cycles and start having symptoms. During the menopause you will have your final menstrual period. You won’t know for sure it happen until you have gone a year without one. The after menopause called postmenopause. at this point you already hit the 12 month with
