UNIT EIGHT: Criminology Lab Questions At this point, you are asked to complete the video journey questions. Each link (the title of the lab) has a set of questions beneath it. The answers to the lab questions are worth 10 points . Lab Questions Visit The Anthrax Files 1. What is anthrax? How was anthrax used in the crimes? - Anthrax is a deadly bacteria that spreads through the air and creates spores. The criminals sent envelopes with anthrax powder to places and used it as a weapon to kill those smelling it. Considering it travels as a fast right, those nearby will automatically become subjected to the bacteria. 2. When examining the anthrax, what did scientists find? - Examining the anthrax was hard because microbiologist had never seen it in a dry powdery form, they always saw it as a wet substance. After a hard examination, they discovered it was an energetic material that reacted extremely easily. Even within the examination bag, it had began to form spores. If someone was to put their hand within the bag, the spores would automatically go to the hand. They discovered, only a profession could’ve done the job because of how purified the anthrax was. When they flew samples of the anthrax to Arizona, they
