Medical Withdrawal FAQ’s Q. How do I initiate the medical withdrawal process? A. Visit the office of withdrawal and admission website: Q. Does any medical condition qualify for a medical withdrawal? A. No, only those medical conditions which clearly disable a student from attending classes and completing class assignments over an extended period of time would qualify for a medical withdrawal. Q. How do I know if my medical condition would qualify for a medical withdrawal? A. As soon as you are considering a medical withdrawal you should contact Student Health Services (518-956-8400) to discuss your situation. At this time any medical documentation you have should be forwarded to Student Health Services as well. Q. If I complete a semester but realize I should have applied for a medical withdrawal after the semester has ended, is it too late to get a medical withdrawal?
