Savannah Woodward HLTH 231- Section 599 March 1, 2018 Module 5: Healthy Relationships Take the Assess Yourself: How Well Do You Communicate? survey. Describe your results. Were they what you expected? Why or why not? What did you learn about yourself while taking this survey? The results I got were about what I expected. I rated the questions with more 5’s and 3’s than 1’s. I feel like my communication is pretty good. I feel that I do well with expressing my feelings and approaching situations in the appropriate manner. However, something I could work on is thinking more before I speak and putting myself in their shoes to always keep their feelings in mind. Something I learned about myself from this survey is that I am not good with sparking up conversations with strangers nor am I good with talking in front of a big crowd. In what situations do you have the most trouble communicating? Which situations make it easier for you to communicate? Situations that I find fairly difficult to communicate in our starting conversations with random people, speaking in front of a large crowd, and talking to a friend about something they do that bothers me. Situations that I feel myself comfortable in and easier to communicate, are those situations between a close loved one or partner. For example, I think it is easy for me to express my feelings and open up to people. Describe a time when you had miscommunication or conflict. How did you handle the situation? How would you handle the situation now, given what you learned within the module? Would have you handled it differently?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
