CAEP CITE EXPLORATION Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation: Cite Exploration In this paper, I will discuss the CAEP website, its organization vision, mission, goals, and purpose, along with examining the standards that this organization promotes. Vision, and Mission Per the website (CAEP: Vision, mission, and goals, 2015), its vision is quite like the organizations’ mission because it sees the promotion of excellence in educator preparation for accreditation, which is very similar to their mission statement. The mission ensues to advance equity and excellence in the preparation of educators through accreditation which provides evidence- base certifications that pledges excellence through supporting continuous improvement that strengthens P – 12 learning. Goals and Purpose Per the website (CAEP: Vision, mission, and goals, 2015), CAEP has five goals in which they have labeled as “strategic,” and they are as follows: Goal 1 – Continuous
