Persuasion Perched up in the oak tree among the birds was where I felt the happiest.  For four years of my  life, ever since I moved to West Meadows with my family, I have spent an absurd amount of  time in an abandoned lot adjacent to our home. I would venture over to escape the hustle and  stress of the industrialized world.  I felt transported to another dimension whenever I trampled  through the foliage, one that consoled my every worry.  It would seem preposterous to anyone  else; that I felt more at home in the grown over parcel of land than I could have in any house.      Every day after school I would skip from the bus stop to the lot and scurry up my favourite  tree. The oak had great holes where I could place my hands and feet so I would not fall or slip  when climbing.  The bark that had once scraped rough on my bare feet now felt smooth as the  callouses on my feet have built up over time.  I would spend hours upon hours reading my  books and hopelessly attempting to calculate math equations my teacher had assigned.  Enjoying the shade the leaves provided in the summer and sipping steaming hot chocolate in  the winter. I had friends, I was not a child with deep rooted issues that needed to sorted though  in isolation.  I merely enjoyed overlooking my neighborhood, which felt like the entire world to

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
