MGMT-6086 Module 2 Drop Box Activity – Using the Internet in Negotiation The Internet is a great place for businesses to purchase major pieces of equipment. If you are located in a small town, the selection that is available over the Internet generally dwarfs local availability, and pricing can be very competitive. However, doing your homework is essential, as you cannot rely on the local reputation of a business, service can be much more difficult, and returns may be expensive. When you buy on the Internet, careful research, not only on the product but also the seller, is even more important than when you buy locally. This exercise will have you research the purchase of a cell phone, accessories and plan for a small business. The cell phone is the central component of the cellular plan. Important additional equipment / services include the case, the screen protector, charging equipment, warranty, number of Canada long distance calling minutes, number of local calling minutes, number of SMS/MMS Canada wide texts, and amount of data. Understanding the technology is the first step in the purchasing decision. Enter “Cell Phone Consumer Reports” into an Internet search engineer. Read at least three different consumer education sites. What features do you find for cell phones?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
