Lab 6 Practice with Arrays Due Date: Sunday Mar 11th, 11:59 pm. The Manager: 1. Click on FILE-> MAKE A COPY 2. Share the copy with all the other team members through email invitations. (5 min) Activity 1. Forming Group Start time: In this lab, you will work in teams of 3–4 students to learn new programming concepts. This lab will introduce you to the process of working with arrays. Download from Moodle for this lab. Content Learning Objectives Declare and initialize array variables of primitive types. Interpret a memory diagram of an array of reference types. Write for loops that iterate the contents of arrays. Process Skill Goals During the activity, you should make progress toward: Developing algorithms that loop through arrays to compute a result (Problem Solving). Study the roles given below. Decide who will be what role for today and write the names in the table below; we will rotate the roles each week. If you have only three people, one should have two roles. If you have five people, two may share the same role. Role Name Manager : reads the questions aloud, keeps track of time and makes sure everyone contributes appropriately. Presenter : talks to the instructor and other teams. The Presenter reports out the highlighted questions to the TA or to other teams. Recorder : records all answers in Google doc and ensures the team agrees on responses. Reflector : Considers how the team could work and learn more effectively and provides team reflection to team & instructor. The Reflector has an additional report to fill in Moodle. 1
