In this passage Liz Addison uses personal experience and argues that community colleges offer students for a place to just start their career. Throughout her passage Liz Addison counterargues comments made by Rick Perlstein about University over community colleges. She mentions her personal experience at community college as she attends two herself, one in the United States of American and the other in United Kingdom of Great Britain. Addison also compares the grading systems of the college in the United Kingdom with the college in the United States. She knowledges that community accept every student regardless than their legal status and how community college is the only way for some students to even attend college because of financial situations. First, Addison starts off her passage about how Community College by questions the comments and opinion given by Rick Perlstein and his friend about a four-year university.
