Kenny Ohata Writing 150 Spring 2018 Professor Landau Aristotle Reflection “The life of money-making is one undertaken under compulsion, and wealth is evidently not the good we are seeking; for it is merely useful and for the sake of something else.” This quote stood out and resonated with me because it aligns with the mindset that I have towards money and happiness. I believe without money, it is hard to live a happy life as it takes away from your ability to live free and pursue your own passions. However, even with all the money at your disposal, happiness is not instantly gained. Every human being ultimately wants to live a happy and fulfilled life. Wealth allows individuals to live free and comfortable, yet it doesn’t establish one’s level of happiness.
