Universidad del istmo FORHUM Nicolás de la Torre 04/10/14 Armonía del Tiempo (Exposición de la música maya) 1. El primer museo de Guatemala estaba ubicado en el congreso de la república. Ahora está ubicado en Miraflores atrás del actual centro comercial Miraflores en la zona 11 de Guatemala 2. Por lo que pude observar la música maya se basaba en instrumentos de percusión y viento. Me imagino que los de percusión fueron primero, por la facilidad de hacerlos y porque casi todo material hueco genera un sonido. Los instrumentos de percusión eran vacíos por dentro y se podían fabricar con madera, piedra, etc. Posteriormente vienen los instrumentos de viento estos podían ser pitos, flautas y caracoles.
