1.0 PURPOSE The purpose of this paper is to seek sponsorship in order for our club, ENACTUS UNIVERSITY TENAGA NASIONAL KAMPUS SULTAN HAJI AHMAD SHAH (UNITEN KSHAS) to send representatives to compete in the ENACTUS WORLD CUP COMPETITION in Johannesburg, South Africa on the 14th October until 16th October 2015. Please find the invitation letter and other necessarry documents to attend the competition enclosed. 2.0 BACKGROUND 2.1 ENACTUS UNITEN KSHAS which was formed in 2001 has established itself as one of the most respected and leading ENACTUS clubs amongst the institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. The club’s main objectives are to generate human capital with strong hands on and understanding of business principals, entrepreneur skills and ethical practices while executing ENACTUS projects to targeted communities. ENACTUS UNITEN KSHAS’s philosophy and practices has groomed its members to be competent, acquired the soft skills required and developed them into being outstanding and dynamic individuals in terms of leadership and critical thinking. 2.2 As one of the pioneer ENACTUS teams in Malaysia, ENACTUS UNITEN KSHAS has gained a high reputation amongst the corporate bodies whilst being respected by other ENACTUS teams in Malaysia. Our alumni have applied the club’s philosophy and are dynamic figures in their respective field and working in places such as NanoMalaysia, PwC London, PwC Malaysia, Schlumberger (Vietnam, Kuwait and India), GE Oil and Gas in Florence, Italy, Maersk in Dubai, Talisman, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, TNB, Petroliam Malaysia Berhad (Petronas), Exxon Mobil, Sime Darby, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Ernst & Young and some of them are even successful entrepreneurs. 2.3 Listed below are some of the accolades received by ENACTUS UNITEN: 2.3.1 October 2005

Blue Sky Award & 2 nd Best Business idea in Montreal, Canada. Receiving the award; project member Khalilah Munirah (BBA, Muadzam Shah Campus). 2.3.2 October 2007 HSBC Literacy Program received project recognition at HSBC Financial Literacy Forum in New York, USA. Receiving the award; project member Siti Rubiah Abd Aziz (B. Acc, Muadzam Shah Campus). Please refer to appendix section for the certificate received. Project of women empowerment (Felda Women) & Orang Asli project of Bukit Seruk, Muadzam Shah, Pahang. 2.3.3 2009 ENACTUS Malaysia/Shell better world competition, champion. Automatic fish feeder project. 2.3.4 2011 Graduating ENACTUS member Nadzrina Ahmad Nadzri was a MACH internship recipient in Microsoft Asia. This program is open to all Asian countries. Only 4 students were selected in Malaysia (2 students from ENACTUS). Miss Nadzrina was ENACTUS UNITEN KSHAS’s team presenter at the ENACTUS Malaysia National Exposition in 2011. Currently, Miss Nadzarina is working at Microsoft Malaysia.
