SAD Course notes @Fred 2018 SAD SAD refers to one aspect of the process of creating or modifying an IS in order to meet the needs & goals of the given business system. When a business decides that it has outgrown its current IS it goes through the process of analysis & design as it attempts to remedy the problem. Analysis - it’s the phase in which the requirement for a new IS are identified. Design- it’s the phase in which those requirements are used to create blue prints or actual plans for the new system. The word system in this case refers to both business & IS since neither can exist without the other. SA is there4 a process of planning a new business or one to replace an existing one. However b4 this planning can be done we must thoroughly understand the old system & determine how computers can best be used for or to make its operation more effective. SA is there4 a process of gathering & interpreting facts, diagnosing problems & using the info to recommend improvements to the system.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
