Jessica Garcia FM 361-75A Leadership Development March 8, 2017 Chapter 6: Case Application 1, “A Better Tomorrow” 1. TOMS can balance being socially responsible and being focused on profits by keeping up  with their charitable business model. It is said that for every pair of shoes they sell, one is  donated to a child in need. This is great for attracting customers because the customers  themselves feel that they are a part of this social responsibility. As this has been the sales  drive for the brand. 2. TOMS would be described as socially responsible. This is because the founder, Black  Mycoskie, was sympathetic over the children in Argentina with no shoes. This made him  determined to base his brand on his view of helping others to make the world a better place.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
