Annotated Bibliography: 1. Webster, Doris. 1940. "THE ORIGIN OF THE SIGNS OF THE ZODIAC: An Interpretation from the Psychological Viewpoint". Journal of American Imago 1, 4: 31-47. In this reading, it talks about the signs of the zodiac and where they originated from. It discusses what the 12 zodiac signs are and how they are associated with the human body during ancient and middle age medicine. The author then talks about the 3 possible explanations of the origin of the zodiacs. This author then goes in depth with each explanation, and explains how each can be correct. This article can help my final project because it doesn't just focus on just one origin, it elaborates on 3 which gives this zodiac myth different perspectives and allows the reader to make a deci- sion on their own. Another reason this article can help my final project is because it goes in depth about how far back in time this myth goes which will allow me to add a lot of historical back- ground to why this specific way of thinking came about.
