Patricia Lee HS 169, Section 3 2/7/18 1. I have never tried this technique before. 2. Before I started this exercise, I felt stressed. Mentally and emotionally, I was distracted by many things. Physically, I felt a bit anxious and my body was very tense. 3. In the first couple of minutes diving into the exercise, I felt some unease. Mentally, I was distracted by many things such as the sound of people walking by the classroom, the responsibilities that I had or the random thoughts that flew in my head. Emotionally, I was a bit sad at first because I was thinking too much and too hard about my personal struggles as well as the exercise itself. At first, I was trying so hard to focus on the woman’s voice and to do as she says. As time went on, I began to relax my body and soon enough, I didn’t even realize the recording voice. I fell into a period of peace without thinking and just breathing.
