CouchmanBIZ 4911VITA InternshipDr. Lambdin3/16/20185TH Week Reflection Volunteer Income Tax AssistantDuring the Spring of 2018, I have the opportunity to intern here at OhioNorthern University through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant program. During this internship, I have become certified in preparing income taxes for clients who have earned less than $54,000 for the 2017 tax year, excluding some areas, such as farming. I would try to find similarities that I could relate to their answer, and then I would be able to carry on conversation from there. I would also allow them to always finish their answer before I brought up a question referring to their tax return. One unique factor about this internship is the availability of my supervisor during the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant hours of operation. Oursupervisor is not physically present; however, he has his cell phone on him atall times in the circumstance of needing him for questions. This is a great
