“Get
Rich or Die Tryin” is a hip-hop/rap
album, written and performed by Curtis
“50 Cent” Jackson.
The album was
released in February 2003.
In the
album, Curtis Jackson details his pursuit
of fortune and fame, and how being
shot nine times nearly ended his life.

While there are visual music videos that were created for some of the songs on Get Rich or Die
Tryin’, to gain the best experience of this work, you would need to use your auditory senses.
Since this is art in musical form, the choice of medium is very important to the overall
experience.
