02.00 FRQ Practice Randy has been experiencing several disturbing symptoms over the last year including: muscle weakness, slow reaction time, visual perception issues, seizures, hearing loss, weight gain, a general sense of pain, and delusions. Doctors are concerned with the neurotransmitters, hormones, Myelin sheath, occipital lobe and temporal lobe. I believe that doctors are concerned with neurotransmitters because it is a chemical that can cause the cell to fire at the wrong time, which can contribute to the slow reaction. Hormones can be linked to the muscle weakness as well as weight gain, which is why the doctors want to look into it. The doctors are concerned with the myelin sheath because if the myelin sheath is damaged the nervous system can’t function properly. The myelin sheath can be the cause of Randy’s sense of pain. The doctors are concerned with the occipital lobe because it makes sense of the visual information your eyes receive. The occipital lobe could be the cause of the delusions. The temporal lobe
