Lily Mekeel Letter of Intent AVEDA Institute of Dallas Dear Amber Michel, To me, a person is successful when they are continually setting and accomplishing their goals. They improve, even if just by a little, each day. Reaching small goals each day, such as choosing to be happy that day, is what breeds a person for a successful life. Whether it be personal, financial, or spiritual, steady growth is the staple of success. This idea of consistent small successes or steps has helped me to accomplish some scary or difficult tasks in my life which have paid off tremendously. One accomplishment that I am proud of was supporting myself as a traveling fashion model for the last three years. My first flight ever was to Italy by myself; although I was scared, I am proud of myself for not letting fear stop me from gaining that valuable experience. Another accomplishment that I am proud of is my decision to continue my education. It felt like a long process reentering school and it is definitely harder going back.
