Services provided cannot be seen or touched so it makes it harder to judge the quality of the services provided, and there are higher stakes for the bank to provide good service because their customer’s money is their service’s focus. Intangible services are hard to market because you can’t give a prospective customer anything to touch, taste, or see, you mostly rely on word of mouth and testimonials of happy current customers. 2.
