Textbook: Introduction to Computing Systems (2 nd edition) , Yale Patt & Sanjay Patel, McGraw Hill, 2004, ISBN 0-07-246750-9 Grading: 5 Problem sets @ 4% each 20% 4 Programming assignments @ 4% 16% 2 In-Class Tests @ 15% each 30% 1 three hour final 34% Total 100% Final grades will be assigned on the basis of A=90+, B=80+, C=70+, D=60+, F= <60 Quiz & Exam Policy: There will be two in-class exams given with at least two weeks notice. There will be a final exam on a date to be published shortly. All the exams are closed-book with two exceptions:
