Thinking Critically Case 10-A Kelli Dunegan 1. Sam did not follow through with clear communication with his new supervisor and assumed that he was following orders. He should have clearly stated the choices with the new supervisor and the consequences with each choice. While discussing this, he would have realized that the new supervisor was interested in fixing the problem but not compromising productivity. 2. Sam could have prevented this occurrence by practicing his skills in active listening. Sam didn t demonstrate acceptance while listening to his new supervisor. He only heard take care of the problem and didn t focus on anything else. He should have been more empathetic and realized that installing the new equipment during a shift would decrease productivity. The lower productivity is shown on reports which reflect poorly on the supervisors.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
