Stoichiometric Determinations Fernando Venegas, Jose Almazan Instructor Dr. Gevorg Sargsyan 1411 General Chemistry I, SW4 April 16, 2018 Abstract: In this lab, we were trying find the proportions by mass in which various substances react. We used HCl, H 2 SO 4 , and NaOH which was Choice I. We gathered the materials to start the lab but before that, we changed into our proper attire. As we begin to prepare the solutions, we used sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide. When we mixed the solutions, we noticed when the volume of the solutions the same, the temperature rose the most. We concluded when the volume of both solutions was equal the temperature change would be the greatest. During the lab, we used a thermometer, graduated cylinder for the volume, and a styro-foam cup to mix the

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
