You will upload your PowerPoints and any other documents (e.g. spreadsheets) to Canvas. This is a case in which you will make an asset allocation recommendation regarding Montgomery County’s Employee Retirement System (ERS). Background: Montgomery County, Maryland, is located in the suburbs of Washington DC and has a population of approximately one million. The county operates a variety of pension plans for its employees. Employees who were hired before October 1, 1994, along with unionized public safety employees, participate in a traditional defined benefit pension plan. (Other employees can choose between a defined contribution plan or a hybrid cash balance plan.) The benefits to retired employees are based on a formula that includes years of service and compensation, and include an inflation adjustment clause.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
