Let’s Stop AIDS The local charity I have chosen is an organization called LetsStopAIDS. LetsStopAIDS is a youth-driven Canadian charity. They focus on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging youth and fostering leadership. LetsStopAIDS was officially founded in 2004 by Shamin Mohamed Jr, with a small group of high school students that decided to take on a challenge. The challenge kept on increasing which created a specific goal: to inspire youth affected by HIV to take action, within local communities. Their goal is for Zero New HIV Infections: Every youth is given the knowledge, resources, and support necessary to make this vision a reality. The charity is 100% Volunteers . “All it takes is one action to make one dream a reality.” When young people are given an opportunity to express their passion, we are able to translate vision into reality. Do you know what HIV is? HIV, which stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, is a virus that weakens your immune system.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
