After reading the theories explaining why social stratification happens to be there in every society, I can arguably say that all the theories have some good points to be debated upon but the conflict theory came out more argumentative. The theory categorizes the society into the two main groups; the rich and the poor. It is very true according to the theory that the rich in the society have more privileges than their subjects or rather their workers. The rich own industries, they have big firms and companies, they own big businesses, property in real estate etc. People working in those variety of places are a lower class compared to the entrepreneurs. A social stratification comes in therefore that the rich being in their own class have more power than the workers something we see every day in life.
