2 POSTIONING REGARDING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN IT AND EDUCATION (Neil, 2008) The use of information has been actively encouraged as a suitable means of giving citizens a chance to participate in facilitating the prospects of education and enhance the manner in which the initially secluded groups in the field of education will actively participate in the field of education (Schofield, 2003). Education institutions play a key role in providing the access to the information technology. In the recent past, use of IT in education has been magnificent in the delivery of education (Cuban, 1986). Rise of internet is viewed to have an intense effect in all levels of education(Harasim, Hiltz, Teles and Turrof, 1995, and Rielding, 1999). The legislation of the technology-based education in is a major focus in developed countries (Ball, 1999). According to statistics, most parts of the universe, use of technology in education is a major concern. The major campaign in creating the knowledge of perception for use of technology in education corresponds to the urge for enhanced education across all the nation and lasting practices in learning which is a bid to end the era of education differences across different walks of life.
