Devin Miertschin EDP 310 4-6-09 Selecting Main Ideas Identifying Important Information for Exam 2 There are three factors that help students be more strategic in identifying the most important information. Answer the following questions about the three factors as they relate to Exam 2 in this class. 1. Knowledge about the nature of the academic task - Based on previous exams in this class, what knowledge do you have about Exam 2? The knowledge that I have about the academic task is it a first about 15 to 20 multiple questions where the answer can be more than one that are correct. Then the second part of the test is 3 to 4 short essay question. 2. Teacher expectations - Based on previous exams, if you want to do well on Exam 2, what is expected of you? The teacher’s expectations for the second exam is to have a basic understanding of the general themes, learn basic definitions for the multiple choice part of the test.
