Devin Miertschin EDP 310 3/10/2009 Study Aids Notes What Research Tells Us About Students Who Use Study Aids Well I use study guides that the textbooks and teachers provide me. I also create my own study aids, like taking notes in the textbook and writing their own questions. The study aids that I use help make the information I am studying more meaningful. The study aids that I use help me remember new information in a way that makes it easier for me to recall. When I use study aids well I am often more effective at finding the main ideas in the text. When I use study aids I often use outside resources also. What Research Tells Us About Students Who Do Not Use Study Aids Well When I do not use study aids I may not know about the types of study aids. Also, I might not know how to use study aids correctly. I may not know how to develop my own study aids. When I use study aids poorly I do not understand the information I am trying to
