The attachment of a polyA tail at the 3’ end which aids in the stability of the mRNA Splicing out of introns and joining together of the exons which allows only the functional sequence to be translated. 3. The sequence elements differ between a bacteria and a eukaryas promoter. The bacteria have a sequence at the -35 and -10 regions whereas eukaryotes have only the TATA box at -25. The bacteria have no mechanism for removing the introns from the gene and therefore you would not be able to get a functional protein produced from
