Evan D’Agostino 3/20/2009 Chapter 10 10.1. So you can create new products at minimal cost and to reduce the amount of unknown events. Also it creates less risk. 10.2 The technical feasibility is mostly based on design, finding alternatives, and figuring out the requirements for the systems and interfaces. Also involves estimating the life cycle cost of the system to support the decision to move on to later stage of design. The later stages are done in greater detail and greater cost so it is done much thoroughly. 10.3 There needs to be a formal contract between the engineers on what is going to be designed. This involves an agreement on the functions that the system to be created must perform and the must include a detailed plan on the input and output criteria for components being designed by different people. A baseline documents formalizes the configuration of the control system also provides a formal method of making changes that will evaluate all the significant consequences and advise all affected parties when a change is made. 10.5 The development of liability started off as caveat emptor through the cases given which
