The speech was well organized; it fulfilled the objectives of a speech introduction as well as the functions of a speech conclusion. For example, the speaker uses his connectives very efficiently, and transitions into the body of his speech with a good flow. He explains Alcatraz to the audience in a way the audience has a good understanding before he transitions into the part of his speech were he gets into the details of the prison and how it was worked and the history itself. The speaker shows he conducted adequate research to perform his speech by quoting many people and revealing specific resources that he uses to explain his topic more sufficiently. The speakers ideas were well supported he showed visual aid concerning Alcatraz, He also uses information taken from scholarly sources in order to further expand the knowledge of the audience and its understanding of the topic.
