Question 26 there was no all of the above answer DVD “The Visitor” Main characters in this film: Provide the country of origin, U.S. citizenship status, religion and profession for each character: Walter – America, citizen, college instructor/author Tarek – Syria, Muslim, illegal, plays drums Zainab – Senegal, Muslim, illegal, designs bracelets etc Mouna – Damascus, Palestinian, illegal, Muslim In what way(s) is/are each of these characters a “Visitor”? Walter – a visitor to their culture and even though it is his apartment he is a visitor in it. Also when playing drums in the park he was the only white guy. Tarek – came to US and was staying in Walters apartment Zainab – came to US and was staying in Walters apartment Mouna – In your opinion: Why is Zainab reluctant to extend friendship to Walter, despite Tarek’s acceptance of Walter and formation of a friendship with him?
