Prelude Sunday, January 25, 2009 1:55 PM Los Angeles - August 27, 1965: Beatles met Elvis at the tail end of their 1965 tour of America o At time: Elvis was making movies, lived at 565 Perugia Way in Bel Air. o There are no photos or audio of meeting. Mal Evans and Neil Aspinall (roadies) both attended with manager Brian Epstein. Colonel Parker, Elvis's manager, demanded no photographs or recordings be made.
