Yoga 1 Section 1 (PE) Quarter 4 : April 1 – May 13, 2009 Instructors: Checka Antifonario, Sheena Patel Email: [email protected] , [email protected] Days : Monday and Wednesday Time: 5:00 – 6:00 pm Location : Zesiger Center T-Club Dates : 4/1, 4/6, 4/8, 4/13, 4/15, 4/22, 4/27, 4/29, 5/4, 5/6, 5/11, 5/13 *No class on Monday, 4/20. Class Description and Objectives: A moderate-intensity class designed to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance. This class aims to promote awareness of the body through various yoga poses that will effectively work all parts of the body in a non-judgmental and non-competitive environment. PE Class Attendance and Guidelines: Attendance the first day is mandatory in order to secure your spot in the class

Check in with instructor prior to the start of class each day to get credit. • Appropriate exercise clothing required – closed toe athletic shoes, breathable clothing, t-shirts, shorts/pants; no jeans, dress pants, belts, skirts or dresses. • If you arrive late after the warm-up is complete, you may not participate in class due to risk of injury (no credit for the day). • Students must attend 11 classes and fully participate to receive PE credit and may make up a maximum of 2 classes. • Make-up forms can be found online at the Stellar Website under “Materials”...
