30/03/2009 10:50:00 Tom Easley – director labor relations  first negodtions went on for 6 months , went to utah state university got degree  then went to work for kenocock bargaining unit locations the boeing company- military side of the buessness and  commercial side of buessess he did negoetioans on manangment and union side  current status- boeing population- it is mostly non union, then 38% is union  represented and then the rest is manamgent.  There are 27,000 boeing employees  down from over 33,000  labor stragey- engagement – engage with employees directy containment- expansion of union rep to non union emlyoees is not the best  interst of the employees or the company leverage- must have suffiecnet leverage in collective bargining to allow for  decions in the best long term interest of ee and the beussness
