Background of NLRA 1935- enacted 1937- constitutionally upheld 1947- taft Hartley amendments 8b added (employer rights) 1959- landrum griffin amendments  NLRA  Who is covered? – private sector workers  What is concerted activity? – key word in section 7 and read city disposal and  individual ee who envokes right from cb agreement is engaging in collective  activity even though its one person because they are drawing from a right that  was collective bargained for in the agreement  If its not about a labor dispute (work related) then its not concerted activity.  Also needs to seem like person is trying to induce group action
