What is Climate? A region’s climate is the ‘average’ seasonal behavior of a number of elements (climate variables) including: Temperature Moisture Wind Distinctive regional weather patterns (monsoons, hurricanes) There is no agreed-upon list of climate variables that totally define all possible climate conditions around the World. Scientists usually use an interval of 50-75 years to average these climate variables and define a region’s ‘Climate’.
