Basis for Grading : Midterms (2) 40% Final 20% Quizzes 10% Writing assignments 30% Letter grades for the course will be based on the cumulative percentage and assigned as follows: 90% = A; 90%< and 80% = B; 80%< and 70% = C; 70%< and 60% = D; <60% = F Exams Midterms and final exams will be based on lecture material and supplemental readings Short answer questions not Scantron No text book PowerPoint files on-line Reading materials on-line None are Required Reading Definitely Not Required Reading Three Quizzes These will be based on assigned reading Quizzes will be given during the last ten minutes of class Only the highest two scores will count Details of each assignment will be posted at least one week before the due date.
