When working with the SQ4R (survey, question, read, recite, relate and review) method it also has a few things in relation with the LISAN (lead. Don’t follow, ideas, signal words, actively listen and note taking) method. These methods relate to me beginning with the first steps the survey and lead directions, the first step in the SQ4R method is to survey and the LISAN method is to Lead. When you are being a leader you have to establish a sense of what is going and survey or read the directions of what you are doing.
