In this article, we will consider three negative effects and three positive effects that the industrial revolution had on society and the economy. Negative Effects The industrial revolution had some negative effects on society. One was the injuries that took place in factories. Because of heavy and harmful machines, workers often got hurt, thus making working conditions horrible. Not only did people have dangerous jobs, but they also got paid minimum wage.
