Carson Bailey Professor Brown ENGL 1302-9am 16 Feb 2018 San antonio raising age to buy tobacco Being able to buy tobacco when you are 18 is a gret privelage and i think you should be allowed to buy tobacco of any sort at 18 becuase you can do alot more than buy tobacco at 18.but also when your 18 you are still growing up and still making dumb decisions. for example in the article "San Antonio becomes first city in Texas to raise tobacco sale age to 21" it says "Ordinances like this one are critical to reduce and eventually eliminate tobacco’s toll, especially considering that nationally about 95 percent of adult smokers started before they turned 21."but also you are old enough to make adult decsions and decide if you wanna use tobacco or a article by Mysa it says "State law already forbids the sale of tobacco products to anyone 17 years old or younger". With all that said i think that San antonio should not of raised the age of tobacco to 21 becuase you make a lot of desions at 18 and
