1. Two customer order decoupling points (CODPs): - ATO: Because there are 500 standards components are manufactured and are held in stock for assembly later when the company receives customer orders. - ETO: Because only when the customer order is in that a design is made and based on that the quotation is made and later materials are purchased for the order 2. ATO: ETO: 3. Because each customer orders are different that is especially the specific one takes the longest time and the fact that they take the average time is not suitable because the pre-treated one is done faster. 4. To have the products delivered faster he can move the CODP to MTS as the products will be manufactured and stored which will be later delivered from stock. 5. My comments: As each customer will have their own want when ordering the instruments, it will be a problem for us to make forecast on the sales of each type which will later lead to stock problem that will cost a lot for the company 6. CODP in this is after the standard components has been manufactured that we received the order to later assembly it followed the order 7. Two chains: -
