HPA 210 MRI Machine Cleverley Standard Costing Model The Cleverley Standard Costing Model I have created shows the expenses of a new MRI machine for a hospital. Most MRI machines last about ten years ( Bolenbaugh, R). Depending on many variables such as the hospital, space available for MRI scans, resources, time, etc. these numbers I have provided are subject to change. Attached is the cost card explaining how the overall cost of a new MRI machine is broken down to fit the requirements and need of the hospital. The first row contains the direct labor cost. In 2016, an MRI technologist’s salary was about $72,081 per year (Rentz, S). I have since broken that down into 72,081 divided by 365 for a per day estimate of total income and then divided that total by 7 to see hourly what an MRI technologist would roughly make. The next row is direct materials. In this row I have the average cost of an MRI machine from 2016 (Rentz, S). I took he range of the best-selling machines and divided that by two to get an average.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
