COMPUTER SCIENCE 50100 FALL 2015 ANNOUNCEMENT OF EXAMINATIONS #1 AND #2 October 2 Exams 1 and 2 will be given concurrently Tuesday, October 6 from 8:00-9:30 pm in ME 1130. The seating chart is here . Exam 1 tests understanding of the solutions to Assignment #1 and may pose questions similar to the review questions from Sections 1.2–2.2 of the class notes. Exam 2 tests understanding of the solutions to Assignment #2 and may pose questions similar to the review questions from Sections 2.3–2.6 of the class notes. An Information Sheet will be handed out with the two exams; appended is a truncated version. There is a heavy emphasis on material of the assignments. The following less common nontechnical English vocabulary is used in the exam: take liberties, suffice. Following are problems created for Exam 2 but not used. Solutions will be posted Monday, October 5. 1. This question concern a solution randNo.py to Assignment 2. Write a cdf method for the RandNo class having as its 2nd argument a real value x .
