They are charismatic creatures with adorable pups and interesting lifestyles, so it is not difficult to see why they are usually the go to animal for media outlets to focus on when garnering awareness. But, what also needs to be worth mentioning along with the polar bear’s habitat loss and declining population rates is a picture painting the tough lifestyle they have to alter to with their changing environment. In this study, researchers placed GPS tracking collar cameras on a small amount of individuals for about a week long period in April 2014, 2015, and 2016 in order to observe their behaviors and measure their ranging.
