WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE US TODAY? •There has been an increase in the number of teen crimes committed •“4,828 young people, ages 10-24, were victims of homicide. An average of 13 each day.•Juveniles under 18 accounted for 13.7% of all violent crime arrests and 22.5% of all property crime arrests.•784 juveniles were arrested for murder.•2,198 juveniles were arrested for forcible rape.•35,001 juveniles were arrested for aggravated assault”. HOW CRIMINAL BEHAVIORS AFFECT TEENS ON A MICRO LEVEL •Criminal behavior ultimately affects teens in negative way•Teens who partake in criminal behavior can create a chain reaction which makes it hard for them to stop these behaviors•Criminal behaviors can cause teens to have a change in their mindset and cause them to think these criminal behaviors are okay.•Being around people who practice criminal behavior can influences teens and pressure them into doing the same.
